NEST PEOPLE

Mature faces bear stories that I would like to tell. Most of these figures are not someone specific, they are an amalgamation of expressions and features that I have seen. I give them a nest to symbolize home, and birds to help tell the story.

The Pigeon Fancier

I saw an old homeless man in a park in Atlanta and I asked if I could draw him. He had nothing, but he was feeding the pigeons from the lunch someone had given him a half an hour before. The Pigeon Fancier tells a story of generosity.

Curiosity

She looks like she is about to ask you a question, doesn’t she? I had to give her a curious crow for a companion.
